The project starts with the basic introduction to Chandigarh, it's foundation and evolution with time through different phases. The changes done to the mandate of Le Corbusier set for Chandigarh are thoroughly studied and understood such that this proposal results in the development of contemporary housings following the mandate of Le Corbusier for the city yet fulfilling all the necessary requirements.
